LBI SOAP meets “Gesunde Blindengasse“
25 Jul 2026, 12:00 – 25 Jul 2026, 16:00
Uhlplatz, Wien
On July 25, 2026, we will be offering our own workshop as part of the action days for the “Gesunde Blindengasse” project. During these days, the area around Blindengasse in Vienna will come alive in many ways—with a focus on the theme of “Health in Public Spaces.”
We are very excited to be part of this wonderful project and look forward to welcoming everyone who would like to attend our workshop there. It is titled “Healthy Animals – Healthy City – Healthy People.” Helene Burtscher from our Community Science program line, along with Jana Köhler from our Science Outreach and Science Education program line, will not only discuss why it’s so important in a major city like Vienna to know how our animal neighbors are doing and how our health is connected to theirs. They’ll also discuss why science, the general public, psychology, and virology must work together to protect animal and human health. The workshop is open to anyone interested, and no registration is required.
